own new high res scans, and
printed on heavyweight water colour paper.

windsor rock - the illustrations
n In the early 70s I was approached by Penny Rimbaud, one of my
Pre-Diploma art tutors,
to produce a series of
illustrations for a book on Phil Russell (Wally Hope, the radical
visionary who initiated the Windsor Free and Stonehenge
Festivals).
n It was a challenge, in that I was asked to illustrate
something that was, to me at the time,
new territory.
I ended up with a small set of drawings that attempts to show a
principle that
works on sometimes intangible levels.
n Much of Penny’s original writing was re-edited into the
booklet accompanying the Crass
boxed set release
“Christ - The Album”.
n The illustrations were never published, but I am working on
them to produce
short edition cards.
